CT Adult Condominiums

Connecticut Adult Condominiums is a development company whose business is the development of active adult communities, i.e. condominium development restricted to residents age fifty five and over in the Northeast portion of the United States. While these communities are very popular in the South and Southwest, in the past decade developers have seen that there is an unmet need for this type of housing in the Northeast.

The Company currently has nine projects under development. Five of these projects are being jointly developed with a publicly held company, Senior Lifestyle Communities. In July 2001 the company received its first zoning approvals for a forty-three unit luxury senior condominiums in South Windsor, Connecticut. In September 2001 the company received approval for a forty-eight-unit senior condominium project in New Milford, CT. It is expected that one to two projects will receive zoning approvals in each of the next six quarters.
